Let’s have a look

Production in Belgium

All our fabrics are developed and woven in our own mill in Belgium. We do not import any fabric. This means that we do not hold stock, but it also means that we are never out of stock = we can (nearly) always ship your orders in maximum 3 weeks from date of order.

  • Flexible production = we can weave any design, any yarn, any repeat,… If needed, we can do a little miracle to produce on a very short leadtime.
  • Flexible in development = we can amend colours, designs, finishes,… Any bespoke design or logo is possible.
  • Reliable in quality = 100% of our fabrics are quality-controlled before they leave our mill for finish.
  • Short communication-lines = you deal directly with us – no wholesaler in between. We are a small organization with a quick reaction-time.

Sustainable working methods

Buying and using fabrics really made in Europe, is the best and easiest step to start reducing your ecological footprint. Moreover, working with European manufacturers, also means that all raw-materials meet with the European REACH-obligations. REACH is worldwide the best official and legal protection for mankind and nature, ensuring that a minimum of harmful substances is used in the final product sold to the end-consumer.

  • All yarns that are used in our qualities, are made by European spinners and therefore also must apply to REACH.
  • All yarns and finishes carry the ÖKO-tex 100 standard.
  • All fabrics are made with GRS-certified recycled wool from unused garment and/or recycled polyester from used PET-bottles, this collection actively reduces your carbon footprint.
  • The dying and finishing is done by a local, specialized company with a fantastic waste-water purification-system, ensuring that the water they extract from the river for dying and finishing, is purer and safer after use than before.
  • Weaving is done in our factory here in Belgium, using electricity from 750 solar panels to run the looms and hybrid company-cars.
  • Yarn- and textile-waste is being collected by a certified company that sells it to manufacturers of insulation-panels used in housing and the car-industry.
  • For some qualities, we use a 100% natural graphite backing to achieve the IMO 8.

Official IMO 8 testing + in-house testing laboratory for quality-control

  • For the cruise-industry, we have our fabrics tested to part 8 of the 2010 FTP-code at Centexbel, located in Gent/Belgium, which is a notified body for EC-type examination of marine equipment and audits to the MED-standards.
  • In our laboratory, we carry out various tests on our jacquard interior fabrics to measure their colour fastness (Atlas Suntest CPS+), durability (Martindale test), resistance to slippage (seam slippage test) and formation of pilling (pilling test).
